Marvin windows and doors are available with a variety of state-of-the-art technologies such as, insulating glass with Low E II -- two panes of insulating glass with an invisible Low E II layer that screens solar heat gain in the summer and reduces heat loss in the winter, as well as screening out harmful UV rays. For an additional barrier this space can be filled with argon gas. For maximum efficiency some Marvin windows are available with High R Tri-pane glazing: three sheets of glass, two Low E II layers plus two insulating areas filled with either argon or krypton gas. As a result of these technologies, many Marvin windows are ENERGY STAR qualified and meet the rigorous standards of the Window & Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA). Marvin windows are available in just about any shape and size imaginable: round-tops, gothic arches, elliptical, eyebrows, circles and many more. Marvin has virtually unlimited divided lite capability with authentic divided lites (ADL), simulated divided lites (SDL) available with an internal spacer bar between the sheets of glass, and snap-in grilles. ADL and SDL bars are available in both standard and custom widths including beaded federal bars and in any lite pattern imaginable. With all these options, your windows can't help but be exactly what you want and historically accurate as well. For building professionals, architects and engineers, Marvin's computer-aided design (CAD) programs increase the speed and accuracy of drafting and specifying. Marvin's CAD software, the Marvin Design System, (MDS), lets you create accurate window and door units right on your drafting table in real time -- if MDS lets you build it, Marvin will build it -- no valuable time lost waiting for factory approvals. You'll be supplied with Marvin's Architectural Details Manual (ADM) and put into Marvin's database so you'll be automatically notified of new and changing products and factory updates.
